HeatMiner

HeatMiner®

The HeatMiner logo generated with HeatMiner itself

HeatMiner® is a visual data mining technology developed by Agience Oy Ltd. It takes raw numeric data as input and generates 3-dimensional heatmaps to your web page or application which can be rotated and zoomed with mouse and saved as high-quality heatmap images. HeatMiner heatmaps are pure vector graphics giving superior benefits over competing solutions. Search heatmap images from Google to see how they usually look like - then take look at the HeatMiner demos to see the future of heatmaps.

HeatMiner is available as-a-Service at Cloud'N'Sci.fi. Follow the links below for demonstrations and documentation of available visual data mining solutions or go straight to the HeatMiner homepage at the marketplace to try it with your own data.

HeatMiner 2.0 beta is now available for beta testing! Please contact Pauli Misikangas if you are interested to get early access to the new version.

4-dimensional heatmaps

4d heatmap created with HeatMiner, the visual data mining tool available as-a-Service at Cloud'N'Sci.fi

Traditional data visualization types such as histograms, graphs, pies and scatter plots cannot show data comprising 4 columns of values dependent on each other. HeatMiner can!

Heatmaps on Google Maps

Heatmap on Google Maps created with HeatMiner, the visual data mining tool available as-a-Service at Cloud'N'Sci.fi

Google Maps is a great tool to visualize geographic information. Use HeatMiner to add high quality heatmaps on the Google Maps view! (released soon)

Customer survey heatmaps

Customer survey heatmap created with HeatMiner, the visual data mining technology available as-a-Service at Cloud'N'Sci.fi

Customer survey results are a good example of a multi-dimensional data set with strong attribute dependencies - each customer (table rows) is asked several questions (table columns) and typically answers correlate somehow. HeatMiner can visualize such data and reveal interesting patterns missed by traditional methods. (released soon)

Visitor location heatmaps

Web site visitor location heatmap created with HeatMiner, the visual data mining technology available as-a-Service at Cloud'N'Sci.fi

Web site visitor location heatmaps based on data exported from Google Analytics. Colorful mountains on the Earth indicate where your web site visitors come from!

Geographic heatmaps

Geographic heatmap created with HeatMiner, the visual data mining tool available as-a-Service at Cloud'N'Sci.fi

Data associated to geolocations is easiest to understand when visualized on the map. Forget those boring 2d views and use HeatMiner to create a 3d heatmap visualizing your data on the Earth.

RGB heatmaps

Need something special?

The HeatMiner technology is developed to match real visual data mining needs and therefore we just love customer projects with challenging data! In case you like what you see but any of the available visualization types is not a perfect match for you, do not hesitate to contact Agience Oy Ltd and describe your needs. The underlying technology is extremely flexible and the Cloud'N'Sci.fi marketplace makes it easy to release new heatmap prototypes even within few days! When the solution is good enough, you can simply start using it as-a-Service via Cloud'N'Sci.fi.
